South Mountain Performing Arts, under the direction of owner and artistic director Michael J. Cook, will offer a wide array of award-winning dance classes, recreational offerings, and pre-professional training programs in a new, state-of-the-art dance center conveniently located in the heart of growing Laveen. Arizona’s newest arts venue, SMPA features a Black Box Theater, two additional theater-scale dance training studios, fitness facilities, and tons of amenities from dressing rooms to a café and and student lounge. We maintain one of Arizona’s most experienced and accomplished teaching faculties, bringing decades of professional experience to our specialized curriculum.
