About

Growing through recreation with Becky Adams includes swimming instruction, swing and ballroom dance instruction, as well as dahlia tuber and flower sales. She will be teaching swimming beginning in April '25, by appointment, Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the Elks' Lodge in Santa Cruz, and evenings through Santa Cruz County Parks at Simpkins. Becky teaches Swing and ballroom classes through Capitola Recreation at 4510 Jade Street, in Capitola, Mon and Thurs evenings. For registration info see the City of Capitola/recreation website. She also grows show-worthy dahlias at her home in Soquel, sells tubers and young plants in spring and early summer, and sells blooms to local florists from mid-July to October.
