Monica :: Egyptian Style Belly Dance

Monica teaches weekly dance classes every Monday at Lines Dance Center. She is also available for private lessons and coaching as well as for workshops, performances, and lectures. Monica has been studying dances, movement, music, songs, percussion, and languages of Egypt, the Arab-speaking world, and the Mediterranean region since she was a teenager. She performed for many years as a performer at countless venues, weddings, parties and celebrations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Along with teaching her weekly dance classes, she maintains a southern Italian and Sicilian dance and drumming practice and plays and performs Arabic music and percussion as a performing member of Aswat Ensemble.
