SBDA, active in Hollister since 2005, strives to offer the finest instruction, specializing in classical and contemporary ballet, while instilling confidence, self-worth, and discipline in the dancer. Instructors teach core principles, technique, and foundational vocabulary to develop dancers with proper muscle memory. Self-development is encouraged in a safe environment with a family atmosphere, where the focus is on cultivating a well-rounded individual. The academy also offers classes for all ages in jazz, tap, lyrical/contemporary, modern, tumbling/acro fusion styles; hip hop curriculum supplements are offered to dancers who are also enrolled in other disciplines. An on-site studio store is stocked with all essentials for classes.
