Welcome to La Rita’s Dance Studio, formerly Bernice’s Starrstep Dance Studio. Established in 1929, Bernice’s Starrstep Dance Studio is the oldest dance studio in Pensacola. In 2024, the studio, which has been run by Bernice Burlingame’s daughter, Starr, for the past 35 years, was taken over by long-time student and teacher La Rita Brigham. At La Rita’s Dance Studio, we strive to create a warm, nurturing, and family-like atmosphere for our students. We believe in teaching our dancers to pursue excellence and develop their skills. Our dedicated instructors support students at their own pace and celebrate their hard work and commitment. La Rita's Dance Studio aims to create a positive atmosphere where all can dance confidently and joyfully!
