Flying Fairies Culture and Arts Center - Flying Fairies Dance Studio - was founded in 2010 by renowned Chinese dance educators Qiuyue Jin, Di Yu, and Huiying Wang in Chicago. The three teachers’ teaching flourished the world of Chinese dance in the greater Chicago area for many decades. In 2016, Mr. Yu and Ms. Wang founded the Seattle Flying Fairies Culture and Arts Center. The Chicago Flying Fairies Dance group continued to be led by Ms. Jin. Flying Fairies Dance Studio’s performances can be seen in its biennial showcase and many festive events throughout Chicagoland. It remains as one of the audiences’ favorite at the Chicago Navy Pier’s annual Chinese New Year celebrations.
