Joel Hall Dancers & Center (JHDC) highlights and spotlights the Black experience through dance. Our professional-level studio classes welcome all abilities and identities to enhance our collective culture. From our work grew a multi-ethnic dance company that performs Urban Jazz, our unique Jazz dance vocabulary developed in Chicago and recognized internationally for its blend of Classic technique with House, Street, and Club influences. JHDC uses dance to cultivate a better world for all.
