GDS is not just a dance studio, it is a family. Generations of students have danced their way through these doors. We are an all-inclusive, judgment-free studio. Our focus is on building self-esteem and encouraging kindness. Students, parents, and faculty have a responsibility to maintain a safe, drama-free environment. Every class focuses on improving each child’s technical skills. Steps are taught in a progressive manner: after mastering the fundamentals of each dance form, students move onto more and more technically difficult training. The teaching staff introduces students to correct dance form and terminology while constructively critiquing each student’s technique.
