Ozark Ballet and Dance Theatre was founded in 1986 by Dollie Hodge in order to offer excellent professional coaching in the arts within the region, and enable students to pursue their goals locally. This company staged the full Nutcracker Ballet in the same year which premiered Russian Classical Ballet in this region. Instruction is by: qualified professional with Bolshoi Teachers Academy certification, accomplished pianist. The studio has also expanded to offer other forms of dance and complete curriculum and study in voice, piano, beginning violin and guitar, drums, fitness and art. Students have the opportunity to participate in performance in a range of productions from soirees showcasing the arts to full scale productions.
