Cultivating the dancer through technique, artistry, mindfulness, and intelligence. Julie A. Caprio, formerly of the Harkness Dance Theatre, the Kansas City Ballet, and the Washington Ballet Company, has performed, taught, and choreographed throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. The company was the recipient of two Harkness grants, given because of Julie’s former affiliation with Harkness Dance Theatre of NYC. Now, HBT has several performances every year and offers a variety of classes every week to dancers of all ages and levels of experience. Their goal, however, has stayed the same through the years: to provide a professional experience and warm environment for the dancer to grow technically and artistically.
