The King Centre for the Performing Arts is in it’s 54th year of business. It was founded in 1970 by Nancy King in Ringwood, NJ. Through the years, it has grown to be one of the most highly acclaimed performing arts schools in Northern New Jersey. The King Centre offers Dance: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Contortion, Musical Theatre, Silks, and Acting and Voice classes in two locations; Wanaque and Mahwah. The King Centre is locally grown but nationally known! Many of our students have achieved National awards in top of the line dance competitions across the nation and have enjoyed professional careers in Television, on Broadway, in Various Ballet Companies, NYC Rockettes and many films. “Where words fail, dance and music speak.”
