Pomegranate Studios is a dance school and performing arts organization, based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Established in 1996 by Founder/Director Myra Krien, Pomegranate provides high-quality instruction in Raks Sharqui and fusion forms of bellydance. In addition to their regular classes and workshops, Pomegranate Studios is known for its innovative Pomegranate SEEDs® (Self-Esteem, Empowerment and Education through Dance) programming which provides dance alongside mentorship and life skills, with programs for teens, children, and adults. Their Mosaic Dance Company provides community performances at events, fundraisers, restaurants, schools, retirement homes and more in addition to annual large-scale theatrical performances.
