About

Ms. Yu graduated from the Beijing Ballet Academy after seven years of study. Following her years of study at the academy, she joined the Central Ballet Company of China a one of their prima ballerinas. She was the lead dancer in "Swan Lake' and "Don Quixole" as well as in the Chinese ballels White Hair Lady", "Red Women's Army", and "Dream of the Red Chamber". Ms. Yu has also lured Europe with performing groups. In 1978 and 1986, she was invited by the Sinc-American Cultural Association to come to the United States, where she presented shor's at the London Center in New York twice. Among her many honors, Ms. Yu was granted a reception at the White House by President Carter. In 1986.
