Meraki: to do something with soul, creativity and love; to leave your essence upon your work. We chose our studio name with the intention of creating dancers that will do just that. At Meraki Academy of Dance we celebrate individuality and encourage our dancers to find themselves in the movement. We are passionate about the art of Dance and strive for excellence. We believe that excellence doesn’t come from dance technique alone and although we are committed to the technical aspect of dance, we are equally committed to teaching dancers the power of empathy and how to move with conviction. We give our students the freedom to discover themselves through dance. We are not only a dance studio. We are family. We do life together as we learn!
