Shirley McPhail School of Dance has been "keeping Austin dancing" since 1970, and we were recently voted Best Dance School of 2020 by the Austin American Statesman Choice Awards. Conveniently located in Northwest Hills, our professional staff and friendly atmosphere have contributed to the dance education of thousands of dancers, many of who have now returned with their children and grandchildren. All types of traditional dance are offered: "Twinkle Tots" for 2-3 year olds, combo classes, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and more! Adult classes offer the adult student a comfortable space to enjoy dance.
