Wilson School of Dance - established 1977 has taught over 19,000 Charlottesville students. Juanita Wilson, founder/director (BA-Dance) provides a caring, inviting family atmosphere for students at all ability levels/ages with the highest business integrity. Juanita (perform/taught NYC, UVA) began dance at age 14 so understands "older beginning" students and creates a special space for teens/adults to achieve their goals, as well as little ones or aspiring professionals. The Proffit Rd school, a former church building, has big arched windows, caring teachers, 2 dance rooms with professional sprung floors important for ease on joints/muscles. Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Princess Ballet, Pre-Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary Dance- Annual Recital!
