Aarambh Kathak Dance School (AKDS) is founded by artistic director and choreogragher Cyenthia Vijayakumar. AKDS follows ISTD syllabus which is a recognized syllabus in USA and UK. ISTD is one of the world’s leading dance examination boards. AKDS teaches all ages and levels. AKDS is at the forefront of promoting Kathak – North Indian classical dance for a much diverse group of people in Milwaukee, WI. We create, produce and present new choreographic works and also partner with other genre to create new productions.
