Brekke Dance Center, formerly know as Paula Brekke School of Dance and Tumbling, has been in the Des Moines/West Des Moines area since 1986. Our staff is degrees and certified to teach in tap, ballet, Jazz, acrobatics, and lyrical/contemporary. Our staff is constantly learning, bringing the current trends to the studio, while teaching the fundamentals and staples of each core technique. Our competitive program has been a top program in the DSM area since the early 90’s and continues to bring home top accolades from each competition. Our dancers compete in seven genres when at competition, which helps make us one of the most well-rounded studio in the metro!
